COME ON DOWN!

Here it comes, the most exciting hour of fantastic prizes!  Come on down, you’re the next contestants on our Price is Right style game!

Four contestants will begin in BID ROW and be shown a prize to bid on.  The contestant who bids closest to the actual retail price without going over wins the prize and gets to play the first PRICING GAME.

[Bid-Row podium order: RED, BLUE, YELLOW, GREEN] – For the first prize up for bids in the game, the contestant to the host’s far left (the RED podium) will bid first, and each adjacent contestant will bid thereafter.  Whenever a contestant wins a prize from BID ROW and comes on stage to play a pricing game, a new contestant will fill the vacated podium.  On the next bid in BID ROW, the new contestant who filled the empty spot will bid first.  (Ex. If the contestant in the YELLOW spot won the first bid, on the next bid, the order will go YELLOW, GREEN, RED, BLUE).  It is always advantageous to bid last.

If all contestants bid OVER the actual retail price of the prize, all bids are erased and all contestants will bid again.  Any contestant whose bid is the EXACT PRICE of the prize wins the prize and receives a $500 bonus!

Pricing games will require contestants to guess the correct prices of large prizes or grocery products.  Some may require guessing the digits in the price of a particular prize; others may require putting prices in a particular order, etc.  Elements of luck may be present in more games than others.  Descriptions and pictures of prizes and products will be provided by the host to help the contestants.

There will be a total of six pricing games.

The first three contestants that won in BID ROW and played a pricing game will participate in the first BIG WHEEL spin.  The three contestants will spin the BIG WHEEL a maximum of two times.  The wheel is divided into twenty sections, each space representing a number of “cents” from 5 to 100.  The contestant who is closest to earning $1.00 on the wheel without going over will proceed to the GRAND SHOWDOWN.  The order in which the contestants spin is based on how much each contestant has won to that point [the total dollar value of their Bid Row prize and Pricing Game prize(s)].

Each contestant has the option to stay on the first number they’ve spun, or they may spin a second time in order to increase their score.  If after their second spin, their total is higher than $1.00, they are automatically eliminated from the BIG WHEEL.  If the first two contestants both go over $1.00 on their spins, the last contestant automatically wins the Big Wheel.

If any contestant spins exactly $1.00 in one spin, or a combination of two spins, they will win a $1,000 bonus!  After all contestants have spun, the contestant(s) who spun $1.00 will receive a BONUS SPIN.  In the Bonus Spin, the contestant spins the wheel once.  If the wheel stops on a GREEN SECTION (the sections marked 5 and 15), the contestant will receive a $10,000 bonus! If the wheel stops on $1.00 (colored RED), the contestant will receive a $25,000 bonus!  In the case that the first two contestants both go over $1.00, the final contestant is allowed one spin to try to spin a $1.00 for the bonus money.

In the event of a tie, each contest will have a SPIN OFF.  Whoever has the higher number after one spin proceeds to the GRAND SHOWDOWN.  If the tie is the result of a $1.00 tie, the spin off AND bonus spin are combined.

After the fourth, fifth, and sixth pricing games, those three contestants participate in the second Big Wheel in the exact same manner.

The two Big Wheel winners will compete in the GRAND SHOWCASE.  After being shown the first Showcase of prizes, the top-winning contestant to that point will have the option to BID or PASS on the first Showcase.  They are bidding on what they think is the TOTAL cost of the Showcase without going over.  After the first bid in submitted, the second Showcase will be revealed, and a second bid will be submitted by the remaining contestant.  The contestant who bids the closest to the total price of their Showcase wins their particular Showcase!

If a contestant’s bid is within $250 of the total price on their Showcase, they win BOTH Showcases!  If both contestants’ bids are OVER the total price, neither contestant wins their Showcase.

*FOR ALL SHOWS: The main purpose for these shows is entertainment and fun, first and foremost.  While many of these games display large amounts of money and/or lavish prizes, we do NOT provide any such prizes for the games.  All parties are welcome to provide their own prizes/gifts that may be implemented in gameplay.  Below are simply some suggestions we have come up with in order to make the gameplay more interesting and/or competitive.

*ADD A SWAG BAG!: Want to play for real prizes?  Add a swag bag of awesome Eek! products to any gameshow package and award gifts as individual prizes or play for an ultimate prize package!

*NEW – CUSTOMIZATION: We offer over 60 playable pricing games. We can supply you with choices of the available games if you wish to create your own unique show.

There are a total of 9 contestants in one full show (6 that play a pricing game, and the remaining three that did not get out of Bid Row).  Depending on the size of your group, you are welcome to amend this as seen fit.  If there are less than 9, you may rotate the players in BID ROW, have players recalled to BID ROW, have contestants keep playing until they win, etc.  For larger groups, you’re welcome to have contestants play in teams.

Since “Come on Down” uses the accumulated cash totals of prizes won by contestants to determine their ranking for the BIG WHEEL and GRAND SHOWDOWN, it may be fun to keep score to see how much each contestant wins altogether (Bid Row, Pricing Game, Bonus Wheel Cash, and Showdown), and the contestant who wins the most is the big winner!

If you would like to provide your own prizes, you may award them as you wish (i.e. award a prize for winning BID ROW, for winning a pricing game, spinning a $1.00 on the wheel, winning the Showcase, etc.).  You could also use the accumulated “money” won as a currency to buy prizes.  For example, if a contestant wins a total of $11,000, they could trade that money in for a prize (say a $5 Starbucks gift card is worth $2,000, a $10 Amazon card is worth $5,000, a paid day off work is worth 10,000, etc.).  Again, you would need to provide these prizes, but we are happy to keep score for you.

You may provide the names of all the people playing, and we can put their names in a hat, and have each contestant “come on down” by random drawing.
