FAQ

*For additional questions, pricing, and more information about the games, email us at eekgameshows@yahoo.com.  Our aim is to provide the best experience for your particular party, so games can be adjusted as such.  There may be additional charges depending on certain accommodations.

How long do shows usually last?

Depending on what package you book, shows can take anywhere from 1 hour to around 2 ½ hours.  Since there is no set time for the games, the times will always be different, but allow at least one hour.

Where are the shows played?

You may book a show for an in-person experience or online.

Since you are booking the show, you will also decide where you would like to have the show.  For office bookings, anywhere with a large screen to view the game would be ideal (conference room, etc.).  You may rent a conference room or ballroom at a hotel for a private party.  For smaller groups, you may even have the game at a house.  All that is required is a screen with a HDMI output, and one large enough for your group to see without difficulty.

For online games, players will receive information for a Zoom meeting, which they will use to login at the start of their show.

Depending on where you would like to hold your event, there may be an additional charge for travel.

Can certain gameshows be played in teams instead of individually?

Yes, the gameshows which typically are played between individuals may be played using teams. For gameshows such as “Pyramid Scheme” or “Keyword Plus,” you may have several two-person teams that play in a round robin format as well. Be sure to also check the “Suggestions” section located near the bottom of each gameshow’s individual page.

How big/small can parties be?

Each gameshow can accommodate a group of any size. Gameshows can be adjusted based on the number of people playing. For larger groups, it may be advisable to play as teams, so more people can participate at a time.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

We will provide all necessary equipment and props for the gameshows.  Anything else is simply up to you!

How can I pay?

We currently accept payment via PayPal, Credit/Debit card, personal check, or cash.  Visit the “Book a Show!” page for online payment.

I have to cancel/reschedule, but I already paid.  What do I do?

Any cancellations must be made within 24 hours’ notice of your originally scheduled event to receive a full refund.  If you need to reschedule, please let us know the date(s) you need to move your event to and we will adjust accordingly.  There is no additional charge for rescheduling.

(For shows with trivia questions)

How easy/hard are the questions?

Our best answer is to say that the questions are “middle of the road;” perhaps the difficulty of a standard pub trivia night.  With our experience hosting shows, we have a pretty good idea what a good trivia question is, and what would be considered reasonable for a casual group.

Can I request certain questions/categories?

If you’re looking for more of a challenge, or an easier, casual game, you are welcome to request games be as such and we will adjust the game(s) accordingly.

We have a large collection of questions that cover a wide range of topics.  You are welcome to request certain types of categories to suit your audience (i.e. more pop culture, more academic, certain eras, etc.).  If you want your shows to be about a very specific topic (i.e. Dungeons & Dragons, North Carolina Politicians, 1969 New York Mets, etc.), there will be an additional charge to prepare the questions and implement them into the games.  Games can be made to be played by people of all ages!

Can I provide my own questions?

If you are booking a show for a group, but are more interested in being a spectator, you may provide your own questions specific to your group.  Depending on what the questions are, they may need to be adjusted on our part so that they fit into the format of the game(s).
